# Management API

Authenticate with `Authorization: Bearer sk_…`. Create keys under **API keys** in the dashboard; we store only a hash, so copy the key when it is shown. Secret keys belong on servers and in CI, never in a page.

The public search endpoint is described in [Hosted search](/docs/hosted-search). The management API is rate-limited to 120 requests a minute per client.
