# Is my snippet installed?

After you paste the snippet, open your site in the dashboard and go to **Settings & install → Is my snippet installed? → Check now**. A few seconds later you get a verdict and a list of findings, each with what to change.

## What it checks

| Check | What a problem means |
|---|---|
| The page loads | We couldn't reach your site's address, or it answered with an error |
| Redirects stay on your domains | Your home page redirects to a domain that isn't in the site's allowed domains, so events from it would be rejected |
| The agentprose script is on the page | No script tag was found in the HTML. A tag added later by JavaScript (for example a tag manager) isn't visible to this check |
| It is there once | Two script tags give agents duplicate tools |
| The site key matches | A missing or different `data-key` sends events nowhere, or to another site |
| Connected to the Cloud | A script served from elsewhere (jsDelivr, your own server) needs `data-cloud` |
| Content-Security-Policy | Your policy (header or `<meta>`) blocks the script in `script-src`, or the Cloud API in `connect-src` |
| Version | A pinned exact version never gets fixes; `/v/0/` does |
| Index link | Shows where your `<link rel="agentprose-index">` points, if you have one |
| Events | The first and latest event we received from your site |

The verdict is **Installed and working**, **Installed, with something to fix** or **Not working yet**.

## How the check works

We make one ordinary GET request to the site address you entered when you added the site: never an address taken from the request, so the check can't be pointed at anything else. Our servers refuse private, loopback and cloud-metadata addresses, check every redirect again, stop after 10 seconds and read at most 2 MB. Nothing on your page runs: we read the HTML and the response headers only.

You can run it 6 times a minute. It sends no events and doesn't count towards your plan.

## If it says "No events yet"

Events appear when an AI agent uses a tool on your site. To send one yourself, open any page with `?agentprose-inspect` added to the address and run a tool, then check again.
