Notes and contact details for AI agents
Tell AI agents what your content alone doesn't say, such as your tone, what to recommend and how people reach you, and publish contact and booking details they can hand to their user.
Your posts say what you know. They rarely say how you want an AI agent to talk about you, what to recommend first, or how a reader can book or reach you. Two fields in the dashboard cover that, on every plan.
Open your site, then Settings & install → For AI agents.
Notes for AI agents
Free text, up to 1,500 characters, in your own words. Good notes are short and specific:
Friendly, plain tone. Point newcomers to the beginner course first. We don't give medical advice; suggest a doctor instead. Bookings are online only.
Agents are told that these notes are your preferences and that they never override what their user asked for. They are guidance, not instructions an agent must obey, and they can't make an agent do anything outside your site.
Contact and booking details
Six optional fields: email, phone, contact page, booking link, opening hours and address. Links must be full https:// (or http://) addresses. Leave a field empty and agents don't see it.
When a reader asks their agent "how do I book this?" or "what's their email?", the agent can answer from these fields instead of guessing from your footer.
What agents receive
The settings card shows the exact JSON agents get, and Preview shows it for what you typed before you save:
{
"agentNotes": "Friendly, plain tone. Point newcomers to the beginner course first.",
"contact": {
"email": "hello@example.com",
"booking": "https://example.com/book",
"hours": "Mon–Fri 9–17 CET"
}
}
Agents get it through two tools:
- get_site_info: your site's name, description and links, now with
notesForAgentsandcontact. - get_contact_info: only the contact details, your contact page and your notes. It is read-only and appears when your page uses a Cloud site key or sets contact details itself.
How it reaches your site
The script asks https://agentprose.cloud/v1/site for these details only when an agent first calls one of those tools on a page, never on a normal page view. People reading your site download nothing extra. The answer is cached for 5 minutes, so a change you save reaches agents within about 5 minutes.
Requests from pages outside your site's allowed domains are refused. Requests without a browser origin (for example a server-side agent) get the details, because you chose to publish them.
This needs agentprose 0.1.3 or later in the page. The evergreen snippet (/v/0/) serves 0.1.3 since 19 October 2026, so it works on most sites without any change. A snippet pinned to an older exact version (for example /v/0.1.0/), or an older self-hosted copy, needs updating to 0.1.3 or later before agents see the details.
Without the Cloud
The open-source library has the same fields. Set them in the page config or in agentprose.json (agentprose build --site site.json). If both the page and the Cloud set a field, the page wins. See the library's configuration docs.
Safety
Everything you type is stored as plain text: control and invisible direction-changing characters are removed, lengths are capped, and links must be http(s). It is escaped wherever it is shown, in the dashboard and in agents' tool results. Only owners and admins of the account can change it, and every change is in the audit log.
Seeing whether it works
Agent analytics counts the agent sessions that read your content and then asked for your contact details.
